China is becoming more attractive to US students

China is being dramatically attractive to American students. Based on the data from the American Centre for Educational Exchange (ACEE), interest in China among American students increased 25.3% this year, compared with last year.

Frank Mork, educational resource coordinator of the ACEE told a press meeting in Beijing that China is emerging as an ever popular destination for American students, with numbers steadily rising over the past few years. Read more…

Highest standards for food safety

Last week, the highest standards of food of imports, exports and domestic consumption have been unveiled by the government.

Stronger links between UK and China

Mainland stocks in energy, finance sectors recover

Shanghai launch economic stimulus package

According to the municipal government official, in addition to the 500-billion-yuan plan introduced last Friday, the government will launch a 160-billion-yuan ($23.4 billion) economic stimulus package. US food and drug agency opens office in Beijing

To better guarantee the safety of increasing Chinese food imports, the US Food and Drug Administration opened its first overseas office in Beijing on November 19.

“A permanent FDA presence in China will help us address the challenges presented by globalization,” FDA commissioner Andrew Von Eschebath said at the opening ceremony. FDA to open offices in China

Three offices will be opened in China by the US Food and Drug Administration this week to help guarantee the export safety to America.
