Dujiangyan
In the 21st century Dujiangyan has become an international tourist destination attracting visitors from home and abroad.
Traditionally reputed as the Fountain of the Land of Abundance, Dujiangyan in Chengdu city boasts thousands of years of water culture and Taoist culture that are profound, sophisticated and celebrated domestically and internationally.
With an average annual temperature of 15.2 degrees C, the climate is mild year-round. The quality of water and air throughout the year stays at State A-grade. Forest coverage of the city is 60.6 percent and afforestation coverage in the city is 44.7 percent.

Chengdu
Chengdu is ratified by the State Council as the center of science and technology, commerce and trade, finance, and the hub of transportation and telecommunication in Southwest China.
It is selected by the State Council as pilot reform zone for coordinated development between urban and rural areas.
Chengdu has a total area of 12,400 sq km with a population of 11.123 million, of which are around 2 million migrants.
In 2007, the city’s GDP reached 332.4 billion yuan and per capita GDP reached $4,000. Sales volume of consumer goods amounted to 135.7 billion yuan and the fixed asset investment reached 238.5 billion yuan.
Chengdu was also awarded as one of China’s most economically dynamic cities, China’s Best Tourism City, and Investment Environment Model City in the Chinese mainland.
Nearly 130 of Fortune 500 companies have set up factories or branch offices in Chengdu.
Shanxi
Shanxi, also known as “Jin”, is situated in North China, midstream of the Yellow River.
Shanxi has made a breakthrough in absorbing foreign investment. In 2007, actual foreign investment reached $2.26 billion, accounting for 5.5 percent of the provincial total investment of fixed assets in 2007. The province traded with 166 countries and regions, the volume of imports and exports reached $10 billion.

Henan
The name of Henan province comes from its location. As most of its land lies on the south of the Yellow River, the province is called “Henan” which means “on the south of the river” in Chinese.

Hunan
