China ranks fifth in world’s oil producers
Based on a report from nation’s leading oil producer PetroChina, the crude oil China has made in 2008 is 189 million tons, which is an increase of 1.61% comparing to 2007.
The growth of production makes China rank the 5th in the world’s oil producers.
According to the report, China had verified its oil deposits of 20.7 billion tons over the past 30 years.
What is more, the production of natural gas would reach 76 billion cu m this year, after adding which, the total production of natural gas will be 5.7 trillion cu m in the 30 years.
