People who haven’t paid being showed on Website

A new website will help the public to search that people who haven’t paid after failing in civil cases in court.

There are more than 5.24 million verdicts that have been handed down by 3,484 courts in the new service list. According to Jiang Bixin, vice-president of the supreme People’s Court, the verdicts must be carried out in the 1.44 million cases.

“There are a growing number of civil and commercial cases that require carrying out forcibly in the recent years,” Jiang said. The public can search anyone or any organization from the website http://zhixing.court.gov.cn/search/ to know whether they have any pending obligations from civil court rulings in the country, Jiang said in a press conference in March 30.

People who would like to investigate civil cases must to hand in some paper enquiries to local courts before the online service.

As the most direct and effective approach, the online platform helps the public to know the consequences of court rulings in the country, Ren Jin, a law professor with National School of Administration, told China Daily.

According to Ren, if a person who hasn’t carried out a court ruling, he or she will confronts pressure both in moral and in mental, and he or she will lose economic chances even be unemployed due to incredibility.

According to Ren, due to the expansion of global financial crisis, a system of credibility need to be established to prevent and resolve various crises in society and economy.
