Power usage got first monthly decrease

China consumed 269.85 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) power last month. The number reduces by 3.7 percent compared with October last year. This is the first year-on-year monthly decrease since 1999.

Meanwhile, according to State Grid Corp, which is in charge of China’s power distribution network the day before yesterday, it has doubled the investment over the next two years. The money is 1 trillion yuan ($146 billion) from a part of national economic stimulus package.
