IFB Bid for Chongqing Urban Environment Project
INVITATION FOR BIDS
The People’s Republic of China has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of the Chongqing Urban Environment Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of Equipment for Infrastructure Information System (Contract No.UMIS/20.01B).
China National Technical Import & Export Corporation, the Procurement Agent, acting for and on behalf of the Employer, Chongqing Construction Commission Information Center, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and Installation of Equipment for Infrastructure Information System.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders at CNTIC’s Chongqing Office, Address: – F1, Light Railway Station, Huanghuayuan, Yuzhong District, Chongqing 400015, China. Tel: 86-23-68003304/68003315, Fax: 86-23-68003045 between 9:00 and 17:00 (Beijing time) on or after April 29, 2008 (except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays), upon payment of a non-refundable fee of RMB1500 or USD215. If the documents are requested to be mailed, an extra express mail fee of RMB200.00 or USD29.00 shall be added.
All bids must be accompanied by a security (in accordance with the form of bid security) not less than 2% (two percent) of the total bid price and delivered to Chongqing Construction Commission Information Center. Address: No 58, 1st Changjiang Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing before 10:00 am (Beijing time), June 18, 2008. The late delivered bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
