Invitation for Bids

1. The P. R. China has applied a loan (Loan No.: 4561-CHA) from the World Bank towards the cost of Chongqing Urban Environment Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contracts of procurement of Vehicles (ICB Bid No.: 0703-0710CIC5J015).

2. Instrimpex International Tendering Company (CNIITC), the authorized Procurement Agent of the Purchaser as shown below, now invites sealed Bids for supply of the Goods and related services as follows:

Package 1: Suction-type excrement tanker, 4 sets; Street sprinkler, 5 sets

Package 2: Emergency ambulance for maintenance, 11 sets

Package 3: Collection vehicle, 13 sets; rear-loading compression vehicle, 11 sets

Package 4: Truck, 21 sets

3. The Bidding Document in English may be purchased in CNIITC from February 20, 2008 upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of RMB1,000 (tax not included) for each set.

4. Bids must be delivered to the Purchaser’s meeting room at or before 10:00 am (Beijing time) on April 2, 2008. Late bids shall be rejected. The bids will be opened simultaneously.
