1. The People’s Republic of China has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstructions and Development (hereinafter called the World Bank) toward the cost of Irrigated Agriculture Intensifications III Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contracts of Submersible Pump and 380v Rural Transmission Line.
2. China Capital Tendering Co., Ltd (CCTC) for and on behalf of the Shandong Province Agriculture Overall Development Office (SDAODO) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of the following goods and relevant services by the way of International Competitive Bidding (ICB):
Package No. 1: Submersible Pump, 1091 sets
Package No. 2: 380v Rural Transmission Line, 542 kms.
3. Bidders are allowed to bid for individual package or two packages. And the partial bid for one package will be refused. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the total bid price. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from, inspect and purchase the bidding documents between 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. / 13:30 and 17:00 p.m. (Beijing Time) from October 22, 2008 at Room No. 330, Yanxiang Mansion No. 2-2, Yanzishan Road, Jinan 250014, China. 4. A complete set of Bidding Documents (BDs) may be purchased by interested bidders at the above address (except Saturday, Sunday and holidays) upon payment of nonrefundable fee of RMB1000.00 or US$135.00.
5. Bids will be opened at Multi-function Hall, 3rd Floor, Tianquan Mansion, Shandong (address: No. 2-1, East Road, Yanzishan Subdistrict, Jinan, Shandong, China) at 10:00 a.m. (Beijing Time) on December 8, 2008.
