Invitation for Bids
1. The P.R.China has received a loan (Loan No.: 2297-PRC) from the Asian Development Bank towards the cost of Nanjing Qinhuai River Environmental Improvement Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract of Procurement of Goods for City East Wastewater Plant (ICB Bid No.: 0703-0820CIC5Y008).
2. Instrimpex International Tendering Company (the Procurement Agent, CNIITC), authorized by Nanjing Municipal Water Co. Ltd (the Purchaser), now invites sealed bids for the procurement of Goods and related services as follows:
Package 1: Submersible equipment, blower, sterilizing equipment, dewaterer package and deodorization unit
Package 2: Biological aerated filter package
Package 3: Cuniform fine grid and suction dredge
Package 4: Valve and gate
Package 5: Aerator, chemical descaling device and others
Bidders may bid for one package or any combination of packages.
3. To purchase the bidding document, bidders should pay a nonrefundable fee of RMB 2,000 or dollar equivalent from May 6, 2008 through CNIITC. The address as follows:

4. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 9:00 am on June 18, 2008 together with a Bid Security of not less than 2% of the total Bid Price. Late bids shall be rejected. The Bids will be opened simultaneously.
