1. The Government of the PRC has received grant funds from the Ozone Projects Trust Fund in US Dollars. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the grants will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the ODS Project Equipment for Foaming Production Line.
2. SINOCHEM International Tendering Co., Ltd. (Procurement Agent) entrusted by Foreign Economic Cooperation Office, Ministry of Environmental Protection, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the following goods in one contract package:
Equipment for Foaming Production Line (including High Pressure Foaming Machine, Press and their Auxiliary Equipment)
3. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedure specified by the World Bank, and is open to all bidders from all the source countries and regions.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office below of SINOCHEM International Tendering Co., Ltd.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below between 9:00-11:00/13:00-16:00 (Beijing Time) from July 18, 2008 (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of RMB500 (USD70) for one set of bidding documents. For mail order, an extra postage of RMB100 (domestic) or USD20 (international) for courier services will be charged. The Procurement Agent will promptly dispatch the documents upon receiving the payment through courier service, but under no circumstances will it hold the responsibility for late delivery or loss of the documents so mailed.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below before 10:00 (Beijing Time) on Sept. 2, 2008 and must be accompanied by a security of not less than 2 percent of bid price. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at bid opening place at 10:00 am (Beijing Time) on Sept. 2, 2008.
