1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the ADB Business Opportunities issued on October 6, 2006.
2. The People’s Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Shandong Hai River Basin Pollution Control Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Supply and Installation of Effluent Reuse Equipment.
3. China International Tendering Company (hereinafter referred to ITC), entrusted by Gaotang County Water Quality Purification Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as Purchaser), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Installation of Effluent Reuse under Project Package No.: GTMWM/G2.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from China ITC and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below between 9:30 and 11:30 am / 1:00 and 4:00 pm from May 22, 2008.
5. The Bidding Document, in the English language, may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below 506, Genertec Plaza, No.90, Xisanhuan Zhonglu, Beijing, P.R. China and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee RMB 1,000 or USD125 in cash.
6. Bids must be delivered at or before 10:00 am (Beijing Time) on July 3, 2008 and will be opened immediately thereafter at the meeting room No. 207 of Shandong Tendering Center of Machinery & Electric Equipment, No.13 Wenhuaxi Road, Jinan, Shandong, P.R. China. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of RMB 300,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
