IFB Bid for the Second Liaoning Medium Cities Infrastructure Project

1. The People’s Republic of China has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of the Second Liaoning Medium Cities Infrastructure Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Panjin Municipal Drainage Management Ltd’s No. 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant (Supply and Installation of Equipment Project – PWW/21.1).
2. CMC International Tendering Company, Liaoning Tianxingjian Tendering Co. Ltd., the Procurement Agents, on behalf of Panjin Municipal Drainage Management Ltd, the Employer, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for: PWW/21.1, Wastewater Company including the supply and installation of equipment of mechanical, electric, instruments and auto-control system of the wastewater plant.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from CMC International Tendering Company at Room 505B and inspect the bidding documents from 9 am to 11 am and 2 pm to 4 pm (Beijing Time) starting from December 5, 2008 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays in China).
4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of RMB3,000 or USD430.
5. Bids must be delivered at or before 10 am (Beijing Time) on January 16, 2009. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of minimum two percent (2%) of the bid price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter at The 4th floor Meeting Room, Jinhuayuan Hotel (No. 5, Beiqima Street, Heping District, Shenyang city, Liaoning province) in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the bid opening.
