1. The People’s Republic of China has received loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development
toward the cost of Wuhan Urban Transport Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of
this loan to payments under the Contracts for Facilities for Road Maintenance.
2. China International Tendering Company, authorized by Wuhan Urban Construction Utilization of Foreign
Investment Project Management Offi ce, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualifi ed bidders for the
Contracts below: [Bid No (IFB No.) 0701-081020060053]

Bidders may bid for a single package or a combination of packages at their choice. A bid must be for at least
one complete package in order to be considered.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at China International Tendering Company and
inspect the bidding documents between 9:30-11:30/13:30-16:30 from September 11, 2008.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission
of a written Application to the Procurement Agent’s address and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of
RMB1,500 or USD200.-.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 a.m. (Beijing Time), on October 23, 2008. The
