Name of the Project: Yulin Environmental Improvement Project-Sewage Treatment Sub-Project

1. The Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China has received an ODA Loan (Loan No.: C05-P218) from Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), toward the cost of Yulin Environmental Improvement Project with the Loan Agreement signed on June 23, 2006.

2. CMC International Tendering Corporation (CITC) is authorized by Yulin Municipal Construction Investment Co., Ltd., to issue this Invitation for Bid for the following Packages:

3. The Bid is open to firms and joint ventures from eligible source countries, in accordance with the Guidelines for Procurement under JBIC ODA Loans. The eligible source countries are defined as all countries and areas in the world.

4. Eligible bidders may come to Room 603 in the office building of CITC as indicated below for obtaining the Bid documents between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm from March 4 to April 3, 2008 (Beijing time, except holidays). A complete set of the documents is available for a nonrefundable fee listed above.

5. Submissions of Bid must be received in sealed envelopes, delivered by hand to Yulin Construction Projects Trade Center, Yulin City, P. R. China, not later than 10:00 am (Beijing time) on April 4, 2008, clearly marked “Bid for Yulin Environmental Improvement Project (Bid No.: 0702-0830CITC6010)”. Documents which are received later will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bidders will be advised, in due course, of the results of their Bids.
