1. The People’s Republic of China (PRC) has received a loan from the World Bank toward the cost of China Thermal Power Efficiency Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Rehabilitation of Beijiao Thermal Power Plant, Shandong Province.
2. The Procurement Agency-CMC International Tendering Corp. now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Rehabilitation of Beijiao Thermal Power Plant, Shandong Province.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.starting from September 9, 2008 (weekends and holidays excepted).
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address (1) below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of RMB2,000 or USD295. RMB200 shall be added for the postage for express mail for purchasing by mail.
