<p>The People’s Republic of China has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Zhengzhou-Xi’an Railway<span id="more-2114"></span> Project (Loan No.: 2182-PRC), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract of Supply and Delivery of Electrification.</p>
<div>CMC International Tendering Corporation (CITC, the Procurement Agent), entrusted by Foreign Capital &amp; Technical Import Center of the Ministry of Railways, PR China (FCTIC, the Purchaser), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders from member countries of ADB for the supply and delivery of the Goods as below:</div>

<p>International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s single-stage, one-envelope bidding procedures.</p>
<p>Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from <b><u>CMC International Tendering Corporation</u></b> and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address of Rm. 506, Genertec Plaza, No. 90, Xisanhuan Zhonglu, Fengtai District, Beijing 100055, PR China, between 9:00-11:00 / 14:00-16:00 (Beijing Time) (except Saturdays &amp; Sundays).</p>
<p>The Bidding Document in English may be purchased by any interested eligible Bidder on the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of RMB2,000 or USD300. For mail order, an extra postage of RMB100 (domestic) or USD50 (international) for courier services will be charged. The method of payment will be by a certified cheque payable to the Purchaser or by cash. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.</p>
<p>All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than two percent (2%) of the total bid price and must be delivered to the address of <b>Rm. 415, Genertec Plaza, No. 90, Xisanhuan Zhonglu,</b> <b>Fengtai District, Beijing 100055, PR China </b>at or before 9:00 (Beijing Time) on 1 April, 2009 in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened at 9:00 (Beijing Time) on 1 April, 2009 at the same place.</p>
<p>The Purchaser will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.</p>

CMC International Tendering Corporation (CITC), the Procurement Agent for and on behalf of the Foreign Capital and Technical Import Center, the Ministry of Railways, the People’s Republic of China (the Purchaser), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of 8 sets of Railway Rescue and Restoration Equipment (railway crane, matching wagon, and other related equipment). Details and specifications are provided in the Bidding Document.</span></p>
