Graphic Designer

The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for design projects from concept, through development, and on to production.

Responsibilities

  • Produce collateral materials for clients, including internal communications (posters, newsletters) and external communications (brochures, sales/marketing materials).
  • Responsible for the entire design cycle including understanding the client needs, developing materials, working to determine a final product, and print production.
  • Develop corporate branding materials (including templates/forms) and insure all collateral adheres to established brand standards.
  • Select external vendors for printing and other services and manage the ongoing vendor relationship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent is required.
  • Degree in Art, Design, Advertising or related field preferred.
  • 4 - 5 years of corporate graphic design experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) applications, graphics (Quark, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, PageMaker) applications, and multimedia (Flash, Dreamweaver) applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate creative thoughts/concepts to clients.
  • Experience understanding client needs and translating them into unique design concepts.
  • Experience with both PC and Mac platforms required.
  • Knowledge of print process and production.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, with an emphasis on detecting errors and/or potential fraud.
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
