Network Engineer

Position Responsibilities
  • Configures, tests, monitors and maintains LAN/WAN equipments and related services
  • Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
  • Make recommendations to enhance uptime, performance and reliability
  • Experience with network security products: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL VPN, Radius/AAA, and Anti-spam
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
  • Responsible, well organized team player with strong communication and customer service skills.

Required Experience

  • Hands-on experience implementing, administrating and troubleshooting network devices:
  • Checkpoint, PIX, Juniper SSL VPN, iptables firewalls
  • Cisco Catalyst 45xx & 37xx, Nortel switches
  • Cisco routers
  • Wireless Access Points
  • VLAN and VMPS
  • Juniper IDS/IPS
  • SecureComputing: IronMail , Safeword
  • Experience with Nagios
  • Experience with MPLS and other WAN technologies
  • Experience with Nortel phone systems and VoIP is a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Linux/Unix Sysadmin skills are desirable

We prefer candidates with at least a bachelor’s degree.
